Plug the network cable
from the modem / router
(Cable or DSL) or
Ethernet switch into
slot marked "WAN".
|

Insert the phone line
cord from the
telephone into slot
marked "Phone". |

Plug the power supply
into an electrical outlet
then plug it into the slot
marked "POWER" on the
back of the adapter.
|
|
When the power is
plugged in, the light on the
top of the adapter will turn
RED for a short time and then
turn off. Once off, lift the
headset and the light will
glow GREEN. You are now
ready to make a phone call.

You may now
connect your computer
or other network
devices into the
"LAN" port. Test your
connectivity by opening
a web browser and
accessing any live
web site.

To set up the voice mail, dial "00" from
any phone attached to the adapter and
listen to the prompts. Press "0" to set up
your mailbox. Advanced options, "3" has
no associated actions. It is for future
enhancements.

If you have requested that your phone
number be ported to the new service,
keep your old phone connected until
the new phone starts to ring. This will
happen automatically when the
number is transferred.
